Shooting Locations for 2025

Peter’s Creek

Parking address: Martin Mill Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307
This address should take you down a very bumpy gravel road and straight to the trail head of Peter’s Creek. There is a bridge out next to this road, and may require a detour depending on which direction you are coming from. When using Apple Maps, it has always accounted for this and taken me around automatically.

Features: small waterfall, stone walls, small swimming hole, woods, rock face
Hike: very easy 5 minute walk from parking lot
Cost to enter: free

Milliken Park (frontage road parking)

Parking Address: 680-882 Milliken Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303
This address should take you to the frontage road alongside I-585. It runs parallel to the entire park, so look for my car when trying to park!

Features: lots of trees, ponds, open fields (great for fall time photos if you want lots of fall colors)
Hike: pretty easy, but there are lots of areas to explore here so it depends on where exactly we end up. Anywhere from a 5-15 minute walk.

Milliken Park (business entrance parking)

Parking Address: 1260 Boiling Springs Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303
This address takes you through the business entrance of Milliken. You will pull in and drive down a long straight road lined with trees. The parking lot will be on your left.

Features: wide open fields, gorgeous trees, tall grass
Hike: easy, 5-10 minutes of walking
Cost to enter: free
Travel fee: none

Horseshoe Falls

Parking Address: 540-700 Horseshoe Falls Road, Entree, SC 29335
This address takes you to a gravel parking lot across the road from the trail head.

Features: river, waterfall, swimming hole, lots of tree cover
Hike: easy, 5-10 minute walk on paved path
Cost to enter: free
Travel fee: none
